Assalamualaikum semua and selamat berpuasa.

Hari ini saya ingin berbicara tentang pre & post wedding photoshoot. Satu elemen wedding photography yang semakin mendapat perhatian sejak akhir-akhir ini. The traditional way to do it is like what the chinese did. Shoot dalam studio (dengan pelbagai aneka persalinan) ataupun outdoor. Bagaimanapun, pre-wedding photoshoot (ataupun engagement shoot bagi orang barat) is not just that. Dengan berkembangnya candid style serta photojournalistic style photography, kebanyakan client mahukan kelainan dalam pre-wedding shoot mereka.

No more static poses. No more mekap tebal. No more typical location (taman bunga etc).

Since last year we at enchantedFOREST had been experimenting with pre-wedding shoot yang diberi nafas baru. Pasangan bakal pengantin diberi kebebasan untuk memilih pakaian mereka sendiri, mekap sendiri (kadang-kadang tak mekap pun!), lokasi yang mereka rasa comfortable dan pose yang menceritakan kisah cinta mereka.

Pada Bulan Januari 2008, pasangan Faizal & Mastura pula memilih untuk mengadakan pre-wedding shoot mereka di Putrajaya.

Masri & Rozie pula inginkan kelainan dalam photoshoot mereka. May 2008 in Kuala Kangsar by Amrufm.

Yang terbaru sekali ialah pasangan Taznim & Ali. Oleh kerana kesibukan mereka, selapas majlis perkahwinan mereka baru kami berkesempatan membuat post-wedding session. Lokasi yang dipilih adalah KL city center dengan pakaian yang comfortable (jeans & shirt).

Rates starts from RM500 for weekdays.

Salam and hello peeps! U know what, I was really excited to shoot this prewedding. Woke up early in the morning, get ready and off to their place with my damaged World War II main battle tank, the Volvo 240. LOL! I was so excited bcoz this is my chance to produce something different.

Danish aka John is an Irish and he will be marrying Sue, a local girl from Johor. Their reception is something different to me, it’s not just another Malay wedding, it’s an English style wedding wich i’m really looking foward to shoot. WohooO! Diorang sporting habis! They accept my suggestion for a prewedding session. They suggest to do the prewedding photoshoot at their place. After some discussion we went to their place, an apartment near Mid Valley, for a jalan-jalan cari angle. Gosh cun seh tempat diorang. No need to pening² to find a good location. Then a few days before the prewedding, I proposed my idea to shot a few underwater-prewedding-pic and they accept it. Yabedabeduu! Bestlah couple ni!

Okay back to the 1st paragraph story, I reached at their place around 0930. The weather was quite good. After a few minutes of preaparation and briefing we start the photo session. Snap snap snap and suddenly the weather change and it’s going to rain. Quickly I change to my super hero outfit, wearing a swimming trunk and a gogle. ghahAHa! No lah. Wearing Adidas tight lah. My only childhood swimming trunk cannot fit anymore. Reput some more. After the shots of Sue pushing Danish into the pool I pun terjun into the pool. weeE~ Super Sejuk! The going-to-rain-wind blow hard and the fat level under my skin are extremely low! gheheeE~ It’s hard to shoot under water actually. Not much we can do because one of them cannot swim. sshhH! Safety first, shoot only what they can do eventhough I got many ideas in my mind. Better than nothing. My body also cannot resist the coldness. I’m freezing! That’s it. Less than 1 hour.

Makan time! I’m starving~ Sue belanja. Together with Danish’s aunts and cuz, just arrived from Ireland. We walk to the nearest mamak for our breakfast and photo preview. They really like Malaysian food. Baguz baguz. Still remember Danish said to me, “Great pictures, you are a Super Player!“. Thank you for your inspiring words Danish!! sobs sobs T_T . Nothing more important than a satisfied client. Okay Danish, I’m waiting for your invitation to shoot an Irish wedding in Ireland =D My God..got to improve my English! Wait! This is not me! I’m not a writer nor a blogger. Maybe I’m so happy that’s why I manage towrite. LOL. Till then, later peeps! Yosh~!
